WHERE DO I PARK? - Park FREE for 2 HOURS in the Market or Water Street garage when you play! Ask us for parking validation.
WILL I PLAY WITH PEOPLE I DON’T KNOW? - No! All of our Rooms are PRIVATE! YOU are the only one who can add players to your Room! Feel free to bring extra players with you to add upon your arrival (up to the Room maximum).
IS IT SCARY? - Not at all. It's fun! And, you are welcome to leave the Room at any time; the door is never locked.
CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT CARD? - Yes! Click HERE to purchase a gift voucher or visit our GIFTS page to learn more! Gift vouchers are valid for five years from the date of purchase, and can be used in any of our Rooms. Gift cards are also available when you visit us in person!
HOW DOES TICKETING WORK? - Tickets are available for purchase in advance online. Online bookings are made securely through Square. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE? - Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your reserved start time. All Rooms will start on time, but late players are welcome to join your party in your Room when they arrive.
WHAT IF MY ENTIRE PARTY IS LATE? - Please call us to discuss options; we want to make it work for you! However, if your party is more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule you to a different time or date.
I MADE A RESERVATION! CAN I ADD MORE PLAYERS TO MY ROOM? - Yes! All reservations are private, so the only one who can add players to your Room is you! Just bring them along! We’ll be happy to accept payment for the additional player(s) when you arrive.
CAN I PLAY WITHOUT A RESERVATION? - You can certainly try! If we have openings, we'd love to invite you to play! The only way to guarantee that you'll be able to play is to make a reservation online. Please check our RESERVATIONS page for up to the minute availability!
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN? We are open Friday - Sunday, with extended days and hours around the holidays. Please see our RESERVATIONS page for up to the minute availability. We are happy to open during the week for special events (pricing varies - CONTACT US for a quote!)
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE TEAM BUILDING and SPECIAL EVENTS during the week? - Yes! This is a fantastic team building exercise! We are also happy to open during the week for special events! Please contact us for details at info@CvilleEscapeRoom.com or through our CONTACT US page. Pricing varies.
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE? - We're sorry, no. Tickets are non-refundable upon purchase. If someone in your party is sick or otherwise unable to play, please CONTACT US and we will do our best to accommodate you!
MY PLANS CHANGED, CAN I RESCHEDULE? - Sure! We know that life can be unpredictable at times. If you need to reschedule, please CONTACT US AT LEAST 24 HOURS before your reservation time and we’ll be happy to reschedule you to a different time, day, and/or Room (pending availability)!
WHAT COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS HAVE YOU PUT IN PLACE? - We have installed HEPA technology air purifiers in every Room and direct telephone lines to communicate with staff. We have separate briefing rooms to keep groups separate. Masks are optional. Please visit our COVID-19 page for more details.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR BAD WEATHER? - Safety first! If there is bad weather and you are not comfortable driving, please call us at 434-424-0520. We'll either reschedule your booking to another day/time that works for you or provide you with a gift voucher so that you can reschedule at your convenience.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?- Each Room is timed at 60 minutes. Some players may solve the Room with minutes to spare.
MAY I PURCHASE A TICKET FOR SOMEONE ELSE? - Yes! Please indicate that player's name in the reservation. If you don’t have all the players’ names handy, input “Guest” in the Player name field.
WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE A RESERVATION, BUT I DON’T KNOW THE NAMES OF ALL THE PLAYERS YET? - Feel free to input "Guest" in the Player name field.
WHAT IF I WANT TO PLAY A MINIMUM 4-PLAYER ROOM WITH ONLY 3 PLAYERS? - That’s absolutely fine! The reservation must meet the minimum number of players for the Room, but you can play with less. Input “Guest” or “Extra” for that player’s name.
WHAT AGES CAN PLAY? - All ages are welcome! The puzzles are challenging, but even young ones love helping to open the locks! Players younger than 16 MUST be accompanied by at least one paying adult in the Room. Children 6 and under are free. Please note that our Rooms include small pieces that may present choking hazards for young children, so young children should be watched closely.
WHAT IS THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT TO PLAY? - This is a mental exercise, not a physical one. You will not need to crawl, climb, use excessive force, or lift anything heavy.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE? - Yes! We have a wheelchair accessible entrance and an ADA compliant bathroom. The wheelchair entrance is through the alley that runs behind our building. Please call 434-424-0520 in advance so we can be sure the alley is clear for you.
DOES ALCOHOL MIX WELL WITH THE ROOMS? - Actually, no. This is a fun and challenging mental exercise; you need to have your wits about you! This is also a family-friendly environment. If we feel you're too impaired to play, you will be refused admission with no refund.
